Federal Government and States Agree on Fuel Price Relief Package

In response to high fuel prices, the federal government and states are implementing a relief package that reduces energy taxes on petrol and diesel by 14 cents per liter until the end of 2026. This tax reduction totals 17 cents per liter including VAT, providing around 2.5 billion euros in relief for citizens and the economy.
